Global Goals (formerly “Global Goals / SDGs”)
UrbanHub aligns its work with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring our efforts accelerate gender equality and systemic progress.
Our SDG Framework
We contribute to the SDGs through a holistic empowerment model that spans core pillars:
- SDG 1 – No Poverty: Increased income and savings for women
- SDG 2 – Zero Hunger: Increased income and savings for women
- SDG 3 – Good Health & Well‑being: Access to health education and services
- SDG 4 – Quality Education: Life‑skills training and rights awareness
- SDG 5 – Gender Equality: Leadership, civic participation, and protection from violence
- SDG 8 – Decent Work & Economic Growth: Microbusiness development and financial inclusion
- SDG 16 – Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions: Advocacy, male allyship, and norm change
Monitoring Our SDG Contributions
- Measuring participant progress from cohort entry through graduation and two-year follow-ups
- Sharing our data to highlight gains and persistent gaps—especially where SDG progress is lagging in urban conflict or crisis zones
- Adapting our programs to respond to COVID-19, conflict pressures, food crises, climate impacts—all reflected in growth tracking
